Bruno Ferreira has always had a passion for understanding the Earth and we humans. His curiosity has led him to study astrophysics, bodywork, meditation and athletics; it is his pleasure to weave these varied areas into an embodied life and healing practice that meld Western science with Eastern views of the body and consciousness. In his practice he offers sessions in deep tissue, reflexology, Cranio-Sacral, Body-Centered Psychotherapy and Swedish massage. His touch is grounded, deep, specific and intuitive, with the intention to step out of the way, listen to your body and support its healing.

Bruno Ferreira holds a PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Florida, Gainesville. He completed a 650-hour training with the Florida School of Massage in 2007 and is nationally (NCBTMB) certified. Further studies include a body-centered psychotherapy (Hakomi method) training entitled: “Body as Resource: Healing Trauma and Character Strategies” through the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. He is currently on the certification track for Visionary Cranio-Sacral Therapy with the Milne Institute. His Cranio-Sacral studies include a course in pediatric work for ages 0-2, and he is available to work with all ages.

With a passion for exploring the abilities and limits of the body through physical activity, Bruno offers a special understanding of the needs of athletes and physically active people. His background includes thirteen years of competitive tennis, the study, personal practice and teaching of various styles of yoga for over ten years, and thirteen years of rock climbing.
